This camp would have to be the best camp ever! Wellington camp had alot of walking but alot of fun activities. Overall we did 50 km of walking. Thursday night was one of the best, we had star bucks, McDonalds and then went to laserforce. But we did many activities aswell like The Mueseum of City & Sea, Digital Archives, Parlament Visit, St Pauls Cathedral, Robin Hood, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Capital E Multi Player Gaming, Wake up New Zealand (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UesaRCJkUWo), Skating and Climbing, Te Papa Gallipoli: The Scale of our war Exhibition, Carter Observatory, Weta Workshop.

I chose this topic because it wouldn't be ver nice to be stuck in a encloser for your hole life when the lions or tigers can be out in the wild where they belong keeping them in captivity does not make sense and who put them in there in the first place, they get taken away from their families.

Diamond Harbour!

Diamond Harbour! 

On Wednesday the 7th of October, my mum, Aunty, cousins and my sisters went to Diamond harbour. We went on the Diamond Harbour Ferry, when we were in the outdoor bit of the boat the water splashed us in the face!

When we got off the boat my mum and Sophie went up to see where the Café is. We started to head up the hill to go to the beach, and tried to find the Café but soon to discover it was another five minute walk up hill!

Isaac and I were walking up and the wind was blowing in his face, he was laughing his head off. When we arrived at the café all I wanted to do was find a shady spot to sit down in. Then we climbed the trees for a bit then started to walk back to the harbour waiting for the next boat to come after staying at Diamond Harbour for a couple of hours. My day was fun!

Anual Ski Trip - Winter fun day!

And here I am going down the Quad!

Last week on Friday 28th, Rimu, Kauri and some of Totora went to Mt Hutt winter fun day. The clutch in the bus went half way up the mountain and so another school had to rescue us. I found out that the school we went in the bus with went skiing quite alot! When we arrived Jorja and I got ready and went up the magic carpet, we went down for the first time in a year and were actually pretty good. 

After an hour of skiing we decided to come back into the cafe, got hot chips and a raspberry slushie. Then we went back out and played on the snow slide and had a snow ball fight with Bree. We seen most of our class heading towards the chair lift so we threw snow balls at them, it was fun but we missed alot of them. But we got Kauri's teacher Mr Matthews. 

After a long day of skiing we weren't tired well some of us weren't anyway. It was a long drive but we had a good day. Next year I want to try and go down the quad in my lesson!

As I was walking to the dairy with my cousin. We walked in and went over to the lolly section. I seen a rainbow strings, I thought I would get a few of those. My cousin said,

“You know they are sour and sweet at the same time!?” I said

“Yeah I know, they were on Sophie’s birthday cake remember?". So we went to the counter and I got the rainbow strings. We left the shop and I struggled to bite a piece of the lollie string, I managed to bite a piece off, but it made my tongue tingle.

I said to my cousin, as when she went inside there was something glimmering in the light!

I felt as though I had to see what it was but I refused but then I walked over to the mini bin. my cousin just about scared me to death and she seen the mini trash can so as she lifted the lid a tarantula jumped out and latched onto her there was gold in there I grabbed the tarantula and my cousin grabbed the gold and we got on the bus.

My friends and I were sitting there wondering how much longer we have to sit in our classroom. A few of our classmates went to the library earlier we thought that it would be a good idea to run over there with something really heavy like a brick! But sure enough the principal didn’t supply bricks to our class or any class. So we thought the wind couldn't be that bad! We snuck out and the ferocious made us end up hugging a branch as we screamed and yelled then all of a sudden our teacher comes to rescue us.

What Have I Done To Be A Healthy Individual?

This Term I have been a healthy individual by:

1. Eating healthy food like bananas, apples, and grapes off the grapevine at home. I also eat carrots and silver beet. 
2. Swimming at home.
3. Running during fitness time.
4. Eating Breakfast in the mornings, crumpets, toast, cornflakes and Ultra Grain.
5. Drink water throughout the day so all through the day I will finish 1 bottle a day.
6. Safety at all times e.g in a car seat belt, on a bike have a helmet on, suitable clothes depending on the weather.
