In the first two weeks of school, Rimu class has been learning and creating a visual mihi and learn how to say our mihi in Māori. This is our introduction to our class and community. Each visual mihi has 3 parts to it.
- A self portrait or a photo
- Places of significance to us
- Symbols or pictures the represent our culture
The mihi was fun and difficult to make.
Tino Pai Rawa Katie. This is an excellent piece of work. I love how you state that you found it hard but you obviously persevered. The end result is well worth your hard work. I especially like the subtitles. Do you think the cartoons work? Keep up the great effort!
